Color-It-RED Day: Prayer Power Against RH Bill

In 1986,  Filipinos have gathered at what we call now the EDSA Shrine for the world-famous "People Power" against Martial Law, a People Power highlighting the fight for DEMOCRACY!

On August 4, 2012, segments of the Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (popularly, EDSA) and Ortigas Avenue near the boundaries of Quezon City and Pasig City have been filled with Filipinos, who gathered once again to show their concern for the most innocent, the unborn, to respect life in all its stages, to stand up for love. What transpired was not just another People Power but a new "Prayer Power", not against Martial Law but against a Martial-Law-like RH Bill. This was a "Prayer Power" highlighting the fight for LIFE!

On the other hand, students and faculty members of a well-known and respected university, who could not join the Prayer Power due to non-suspension of classes, wore RED on the same day. They love LIFE and they colored the day RED!

The following are sample pictures* of my co-faculty on the Prayer Power Day!
